Prayers for Teenie

;Prayers and good vibes from here; I hope it's a cyst; Jessie's had a few of those removed. Guess she was jealous of all the worrying you do over Emma and decided to give you something to worry about too. [&o]

Teenie says I need to tell you all about what a good girl she's becoming. Most everybody knows, she's only lived with Emma and I for eight months, and when she came, she was a VERY nervous girl, and wasn't very confident at all.

I've seen her change, every day. She's lost ten pounds. She's bouncy, active, and she's become such a beautiful dog. Her coat is shiny, her toofers are nice and white now, she enjoys being groomed and petted, and she's getting along GREAT with Emma. She's still wary of strangers, so I thought:)

Well, Teenie decided, yesterday, that she is a *new* girl! We went into the vet's office, with her cute collar and leash, because I was convinced that she wouldn't leave my lap. She hopped off of my lap, and started talking to the dog sitting near us. TALKING! Then, she walked over to a nice lady with a Dachshund, leapt into her lap, and KISSED HER right on the face. MY Teenie did that! After that, I was standing in the lab, talking to the vet, when her Boston Terrier, Walter, popped over to say hello. I told him Teenie might not be so nice to him, as he walked up. We watched, to see what she'd do. Do you wanna know what MY Teenie did? She wagged her tail, smelled him, and PLAY BOWED!!!! I asked her who she was, and what she'd done with that Weiner Dog. This girl has changed SO MUCH!!! I had NO idea. She's such a good little girl. I'm sure that everything will be fine.

Thank you all so much for the thoughts, and prayers.

Gosh Jennie - that's just a wonderful site to imagine.  It sounds like Tennie was a super trooper and has progressed leaps and bounds.  I can imagine how your heart swelled with pride.  Good for you both!!

I am so happy to hear that she has become a " new girl".  I have tears in my eyes, I always think about my Romeo and how far he has become, from an abused dog afraid of people and all kinds of things, to being a reals Casanova w/the ladies both human and canines and literally a little dog full of confidence.  Is amazing what good  love does.  My prayers are with you and Teenie always.

    Oops.

Our lives are way too busy these days! Teenie hasn't had her surgery, yet, because the clinic we normally use wanted $400 for JUST the surgery. We've got an appointment for another vet, who we've used and been happy with, for this Thursday.

I was getting worried and am relieved to hear from you. When I found a lump on Jessie's side that was growing fast enough to be a concern the vet wouldn't tell me what he thought it was; all he would say is it didn't feel like a fatty tumor and needed to be removed.  I was worried sick but it turned out to be a cyst;  I hope that that's the case for Teenie.
