• cakana Posted : 3/10/2006 1:03:47 PM If Tootsie is still suffering from Kennel Cough, then I would certainly think it might affect the appetite.  It's basically a doggie cold and just like us, if they're feeling crummy, they might not feel too hungry.  If the lack of hunger goes too long (more than 24 hours), I'd try maybe warming the food or cooking something up like chicken and rice.  Is Tootsie still drinking water okay?  Hydration would be my biggest concern. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • cakana Posted : 3/10/2006 1:57:10 PM When my lab had Kennel Cough, she wasn't lethargic but it wouldn't surprise me that some dogs would be.  As long as she's drinking water and hasn't gone without eating for too long, I would just keep a close eye on her.  Is she on any antibiotics for the KC?  If so, those could be making her feel lousy too.  My girl seemed to get over the worst of it in only a few days but we had put her on antibiotics for it.  Now that I know more, I might not have done that, but I knew nothing about KC at the time. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
