    Puppy may be sick.....please help~!

His name is Bear. He is 6 months old. Not fixed. He's had his shots.....except rabies. But here's the thing......when I first got him he had his first set of shots. (from Stock Shop). I bought his last two sets from Pet Depot. These shots, from different shops have different ingredients in them. His first shot had Corona (and no lepto) in it. And his last 2 had Lepto but not corona. He got his first shot when he was 8 weeks. Then I waited 3 weeks and gave him his 2nd. Another 3 weeks later, he got his 3rd shot.
Now I'm worried because he's been throwing up lately. For the past week. And my boyfriend noticed (a few days ago) that he was burning up! I felt his forehead and he was right. Now he's not hot anymore. (Havent taken his temp. Just felt his head). He hasn't had any diarrea. (Only one time last week). And another thing......I noticed (when I was giving him a bath outside) that there's this green/yellowish creme stuff coming out of his penis. It's on the inside and out.
Given these symptoms: Vomiting, Fever (I think), and Nasty Discharge.........
What do you think is wrong with him? Has anyone else experienced these symptoms with their dog? And did they turn out to have a disease? Is it possible he has a disease even though he's got 3 sets of shots? I was thinking about giving him 3 sets again (of just one type, like the shot with corona in it) just to make sure that he doesnt get a disease.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!
    Thank You for your time.

First of all, don't give him any more shots. He's had enough vaccines.
Second, take his temp (rectally) Normal should be about 101
Third, if he is throwing up, don't give him any solid food for 24 hours (his tummy needs a rest).
Finally, call a vet and make an appointment to get him checked out.

Good luck with your little guy.

Vomiting, Fever (I think), and Nasty Discharge

Vomiting, take his food away if he is vomiting right after he eats and his water if he is doing the same thing. Offer him some pedialyte or gator aid to keep him hydrated. Taking his temp rectally is the only way to know for sure if he has a fever, it should be 101 to 102 as normal.
He should be seen by a vet for the discharge that is abnormal.
Good luck and hope you stay around on the forum.

    Above information is most important.
On the other side of this,,,vaccines could cause a dog big time problems. They are supposed to help, but as with everything else,,, they could cause problems..and certain vaccines cause more then others. Dr. Jean Dodds vaccine protocols are found on this link: [linkhttp://www.doglogic.com/vaccination.htm]http://www.doglogic.com/vaccination.htm[/link]

Good luck with your pup,,,hoping he feels better very soon!

    Please, no more shots.

In any event, it takes THREE WEEKS for any shot to work it's way thru the body and create immunity.  The early shots were likely totally ineffective -- 8 weeks is pretty young because Mom's colostrum is still effective in the body.  But that's why a series is given.  So the next one should 'catch' it.

Corona is something only baby puppies get typically -- and corona lives IN parvovirus - a dog can *not* get corona unless they also *have* parvo -- the disease doesn't travel separately.  So vaccinating for parvo is flatly a waste.   Lepto is more apt to cause a reaction than help anything.

In honesty -- just get the dog to the vet.  Vaccines are a very complicated subject and please become more informed about them before you vaccinate again.  Too many vaccines is far far far moe apt to cause illness than help.  It lowers the immune system so that a dog that wasn't susceptible can be MORE susceptible.  So most of all, do NOT vaccinate now.  Particularly no dog, or human, should ever take any sort of vaccine when not 100% well.
