not feeling well...should I be worried

Hi everyone.  First time on since the change to this fancy pants new format.  I'm learning though.
So Lucy is not feeling well.  I first noticed that she'd vomitted on Tuesday afternoon.  She again threw up this morning.  These are not post coughing vomits, but real vomitting.  She is also fairly lethargic and needs more cuddling than usual, so I know she isn't feeling well.  She has been drinking her water, but honestly I've not noticed about her food, DH and I both feed her if her bowl is empty so maybe he did, but he can't remember either.  She has has regular BMs, without diarrhea.  Her vomit doesn't contain much food, just really muccous.
I normally give her a kong in the morning with kibble and a good helping of her favorite peanut better.  I did not give it to her this morning.  Just water, some toys and a bone.

Should I be worried.  I called the vet and have an appt at 4.

    Thanks!
    Carla

Well, I'm not a doctor, but based on my dog mom experiences, it's probably not serious.  If you had just said she was vomiting mucous, I'd wonder if she wasn't just hungry.  But, since you also mentioned she seems lethargic, I think you're doing the right thing getting her checked out.  Let us know how she makes out.  :)

Ash got like this once. She was vomiting and had diarrhea for about 2 days. She was very lethrgic. Her vomit was mucous too. I waas very scared. I was told to hold her food and water for 12 hours and then give her some water. Well, I half-listened. I couldn't imagine keeping her water from her for 12 hours. So I would give her water every couple of hours, if she wanted it. She was fine after about 2 days. I still don't  know what happened. My vet concluded that she probably ate something bad. Like a plant of some kind or something. Let us know how Lucy is doing.

Sorry guys, I moved the thread to Conditions and Illnesses.  Lucy is obstructed and may need surgery.  We will find out on Sat.  I'll update on that thread.
Thanks for the concern guys!!! DH, Lucy and I appreciate all the prayers and concern.
