    hello... recently my dog has been having problems with his skin... a certain place on his legs has its hair all dropped off and his skin began to swollen and become rough on the surface... since today his paws are developing the same but this time its all reddish and sometiems it bleeds... can anyone help me... if u need a picture i can put up pictures.... THANKS!!! [:)]

    Hi --
     
    Is the dog licking?  biting?  scratching? 
     
    Where do you live?  (I'm thinking perhaps contact allergy to certain grasses, etc.)
     
    Where specifically on the legs?  Same place on both?  front or back?  Just the legs and not the back?  Inside of the legs (where it contacts the floor/ground when the dog lies down?)
     
    Do you see tiny little blister-like bumps? 
     
    Could be a burn or fungal or many things. 
     
    How old is the dog?  Indoor dog or outdoor?
     
    When it started -- was it when the season changed?  Have you moved?  Has anything changed in the dog's environment?
     
    What breed(s) is the dog? Age of dog??
     
    How long have you had the dog?  Any recent vaccines?  meds??
     
    Sorry for all the questions -- just need more info.  I may not be on really long tonight but I will be on tomorrow and others will try to help too.

    Where do you live?  South East Asia Malaysia

    Where specifically on the legs?  Same place on both?  front or back?  Just the legs and not the back?  Inside of the legs (where it contacts the floor/ground when the dog lies down?)  Oh his thighs and some on his paws

    Do you see tiny little blister-like bumps?

    How old is the dog?  Indoor dog or outdoor?  He is 4 eyars old and his a outdoor dog..

    When it started -- was it when the season changed?  Have you moved?  Has anything changed in the dog's environment?  It started sometime back... and been in the same palce only went for frequent walks

    What breed(s) is the dog? Age of dog?? He is a mi between ad rottweiller and a labrador

    How long have you had the dog?  Any recent vaccines?  meds?? well had him for 4 years now

    Sorry for all the questions -- just need more info.  I may not be on really long tonight but I will be on tomorrow and others will try to help too.

    Sort of looks fungal -- which could mean it will spread.  I'd have a vet look at it.

    thanks a lot... will be awaiting ur reply... the vet is pretty far away from where i am so i just wanan know ats going on with him... [:)]
