    Frontline Usage...

I gave Sally a dosage of Frintline today. It turns out that 30 days from now we will be on vacation and she will be boarded at the vets. Can I give her another dosage a couple of days early, or should I have the vet give her one? I'm afriad that if I wait too long after the 30 day mark she will get fleas.

how many days will it be past 30days if you wait until you get back from vacation?

I would give it to the vet and let them apply it while she is boarding.  Be sure to spray your home and garden too or let pest control do it for you.

    Have a nice vacation!

My vet always told me you could put it on every 3 weeks.  So i don't think it would hurt to put it on a few days before.

I just put a dosage on my puppy this morning, but he squirmed a bit and i don't know how much got on the skin and how much was on the fur....he doesn't have long hair, but still....do I need to reapply???  It was my first time applying it...I'm afraid I made a boo boo.

I would not re-apply to a puppy.  Mark the calendar and put in on again in 30 days.   Sometimes it's hard to get the hang of it but you will know better next time.

No, don't reapply.  You might get too much on him by mistake.

I always reapply frontline once every 1 1/2 to 2 months, and found it just as effective.  One dosage of frontline has been proven to be effective for up to 3 months.  But if you want to be sure, you can ask the vet to give her the frontline at 30 days.
