Hi,
I have pasted some links to Cushings in dogs for your reveiw. A couple of them offer a forum of like people who are going through just what the two of you are facing.
Kidney disease is also a tough one. The expert on Kidney's is Callie. I will email her to alert her to your post as soon as possible.
Hypothyroid can be monitored on medications, which are for life, along with this or inconjuction with these pills you can also use better quality food and some holistic remedies to help, not only boost her immune system but also build it up while she fights these diseases. Again, Callie is the one for this also. I had a kidney dog also at one point, who was on a no protien diet which I am sure your vet suggested. Please don't be sad about this. 11yrs old is wonderful!
] And with the right diet, herb's and foods, things will improve and give you more time together. After all, 11yrs old is no spring chicken! Great job!!!
Take it one day at a time and know you are going to over come *this* And grow together.
I do hope these things helped you in some way. It is important to get her immune system built back up. Go to the post My laberweimer...... and read that one also.
