Really dry nose... sick?

    Really dry nose... sick?

My boxer's nose is really dry, so dry that the top looks cracked, but not bleeding.  I moved to a new apartment about a month ago and her skin has been really dry since then.  Does anyone know what it means when your dogs nose is really dry?  I thought it was supposed to be wet all the time.

Any help I'd greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks!

There noses do go dry once in a while. It is not much of an indicator to say your dog is sick, cause their noses can be wet and cold and they are sick.

Some dog's noses do that with age or as they age. I have noticed dogs that stay outside a majority of the time or outside dogs period, their noses go like that. Dry and cracked looking. I asked my vet the same question when I got a rescue whose nose was exactly like that if I needed to bring him in. The vet told me what I stated above, some dogs just do.... Crazy isn't it?
