• Update on Ace's cherry eye Nikki Aponte Posted : 3/26/2007 4:12:24 PM Well he saw the vet today and things are ok. He gave us some antibiotic/cortizone cream to reduce the swelling and prevent infection and we have decided to do the surgery when he is neutered in a few months. The vet felt there was no emergency and that as long as it is kept clean and we put the cream on it then it will easily be fine until he is ready to be neutered so we don't have to risk anesthesia twice. I am happy with the outcome and I am glad that my little boy gets to mature a little before he is put out.
