Yes, I didn't want to keep mentioning the name because I've noticed sometimes other people get upset.  But, it is the Fish/Sweet Potato Natural Balance.  She's getting that in the am and sometimes again at night but she's also still getting her prescription food for her digestive issues which will be a lifelong thing.
ort of supposed to look like Mickey Mouse's face, the outline.  You can see it best in the last picture.

I post on another dog forum and have run into some resistance to mentioning Natural Balance as well. I think it is a great food, and so does the Vet Dermatologist that my dog has visited.  I think that because it is sold by a large chain ( Petco) that people think it is not a good food.  Before NB, I tried  all the buzzword foods that are frequently mentioned ( Innova, Eagle Pack, Canidae, Solid Gold,  etc..etc...) on  these websites  and they either resulted in indigestion or lack of appetite for my dog. Since I have had my dog on the NB Sweet Potato and Fish her coat actually glistens!!!!   And she loves all their products......

I've seen some people criticize it by saying it's a carb based food since potatos are listed first in the ingredients, but a lot of members have had good results with it for thier allergy dogs. I've thought about trying it but I would have to pay shipping since it's not available in this area.

Personally, I'm not too concerned with it having the sweet potato as the first ingredient.  Willow gets quite a lot of meat and cheese daily.  So, I'm not concerned in her case.

I've read that chows can do quite well on a fish diet since they are northern type breed and also originate from China.

I have to say that both times I've fed her fish kibble this was the result.  She was very shiny on Innova also but could not handle it with her digestive issues.
