tick heads staying in

• tick heads staying in stef g Posted : 10/23/2006 2:51:53 AM so i read several things online and i get two messages: tick heads are okay if left in, they will fall out and tick heads are bad, get them out now. my dog isn't letting me get it out, i dont have tweezers and its just stuck. i sanitized the area as much as i can and put her to sleep in her crate. tomorrow i am going to take her to the vet. i just want to know she will be okay... --my other puppy had a tick on his neck but the whole thing came out... • alexandra victoria Posted : 10/25/2006 11:25:21 AM they are nasty things... i found a dog three days ago and i decided to take her home. she was in a very bad state and had fleas and ticks EVERYWHERE, i took her to the vet and he gave her an injection and a capsule think he said.
