Obviously not..I found one on Maisie that was big enough that when I took it off it left a decent sized mark. What flea & tick medicine do ya'll suggest? • sandra_slayton Posted : 10/7/2006 2:26:36 AM I used Frontline for years and then switched to Frontline Plus and was happy with them----until this year.  Now I find critters on my dogs within two weeks of putting the stuff on them.  I have read the same complaint on several forums, but have also read it sabout the Advantage and the Advantix.  I think the nasty little critters are getting immune to all of them.   EDITED  I just noticed you are from SE Texas.  I am just out of Corpus Christi and we have been over run with fleas this year, but no much problem with ticks.  I have a brother in Austin who was also overrun with fleas inside and out.  Nothing much seems to work. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • Jenny Stromsdorfer Posted : 10/7/2006 4:59:29 PM We use Frontline Plus and have never had a problem with fleas until this summer, too.  I think we've finally seen the last of them for the time being.  Don't know why, but I've read lots of posts, too, of people being overrun with fleas.  I did call Frontline customer service and they were more than pleasant and helpful.  They said that if it's really bad, you can reapply the Frontline Plus. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. Advantage is not supposed to kill ticks, only fleas. [linkhttp://www.nofleas.com/]http://www.nofleas.com/ [/link] You just have to read the directions.  K9 Advantix kills ticks and mosquitoes as well as fleas.  I just switched  from Frontline to Advantix last month because Frontline wasn't working very well.  Haven't seen a flea since I made the switch and I notice that there are no mosquitoes buzzing around my dogs head either , like there was before.....
