    flakey/scabby nose

Not sure if this belongs in this section, but perhaps someone can offer me some insight.

Daisy has a scabby/flakey nose, I've tried to remove it by picking at it but it became obvious she doesn't like it at all, and even when removed it just comes back after a few days.  I've tried to apply olive oil on her nose to keep the scabby portion somewhat manageable, but still it continues to be an issue.  I don't think Daisy minds it one bit, but it does look awfully nasty when the top of her nose is completely covered in that stuff.

    Any suggestions?

Years ago that happened to my dog Cindy. Used to put oil on it all the time. I felt so bad for her. But I don't think anything helped it and I don't know if I ever figured out what it was. I hope you do, I'll be watching this one!

hmmmm....would your pup try and lick bag balm off? I would be very careful using it anywhere near the eyes but just a tad on the nose might be OK???

Is Bagbalm safe for consumption?  I am fairly certain if it's around her nose, she'll figure out a way to get it into her mouth.

BTW, isn't bag balm used to treat diaper rash?

Bag balm is also used for nursing bitches, cuts and bruises. Great stuff.

I assume your baby is not an outside dog. In many cases I have seen dogs that are outside all the time with this condition. It could also be cancerous.

Is there anyway your baby is getting food stuck on top of her nose? Soft food does that sometimes too.
