    Hi all.......my pup is 8 mos old...and appears to have arash on her belly..it looks pink and kind of like bites..she is on k9 advantage and currently has no fleas ..and usually bathes every 3 weeks..do I need to bathe her more?is it an allergy?worms?what is this?

    doubt that you need to bathe her more. Sometimes too much bathing isn't good for them - can dry out their skin. It could be a reaction to something she's eating. What are you feeding her? Is she red or itchy anwhere else? How are her poops? Is she acting fine? Is she eating o.k.

       Hi coruiz and welcome to idog; It is probably not caused by the food you are feeding your pup. If she wants to lick the area you should keep her from doing so as that will irritate the rash more. I checked your profile and saw that you live in Florida; do you know if your puppy has been walking through or laying in an area with some Wandering Jew? It is a vinelike plant that is widespread in the South and often causes dogs who come in contact with it to have a rash on their stomach, here is a picture of it;

       Gold Bond Powder will help relieve the redness and itching. If the powder doesn't help and she's not better by Monday you should take her to the vet as the type of rash you describe could also be caused by mites. Keep us posted on how your puppy does; do you have any pics? I love puppy pictures.[:D]
