I'm just on top of the world[][][][][][][] Dr. Blackburn said that this is a good thing but we have to keep a careful eye on her in case more develop, he said that the report said that she is primed(???) to possibly get more. Need an explanation on this. Anyway, I just had to let you all know and say that "The powers of forum dogs prayers" have again been heard. • tacran Posted : 8/19/2006 11:55:11 AM Excellent news!  I'll bet all the knots in your stomach just UNwound all at once.  What a relief!  As for her being "primed" for others, perhaps it's like in humans where once a fibroid tumor or cyst is found in the breast area, then it's more likely to happen again?  I know someone who had a couple benign breast lumps and she was told they could indicate a predisposition to ones with abnormal cells.  It just means you'll have to keep a close eye on Angel, which of course, you're doing anyway!    Give her a hug and a kiss on the top of her pretty head!  Now you all can really enjoy the weekend! 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • sandra_slayton Posted : 8/19/2006 12:21:12 PM A few years my brother's dalmatian was diagnosed with breast cancer and had to have two breasts removed.  She lived another 6 or so years and it was artritis in her hips and spine that caused them to send her to the bridge at age 9 1/2.  Never had cancer come back on her.  So even had it been cancer--which I am so happy it wasn't--she could have lived a long healthy life as did Purdy. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
