Yes, that's hard news to take, but it makes more sense. My concern was that it COULD be something like that and you feeling 'guilty' because the first vet was telling you it was "your fault" (*which is NOT fair*).
Are you folks going to try to remove it (altho it sounds like it is spreading pretty fast). But you can do a cancer diet if you want something that may buy you a bit more time. Essentially a cancer diet is one that has no grain carbs -- carbohydrates 'feed' cancer and allow it to grow. Giving a diet that is essentially meat and veggies (all mashed and cooked together) will starve the cancer so it grows far slower.
