My 12 month old pit bull has been getting these red, pimple-like bumps that turn into scabs after a few days. They are mostly on her legs and stomach. They're not itching her, she doesn't seem to care at all about them, but they look really bad when they are all bumpy. After reading some other posts it seems like it's allergies, but no one seems to have the exact same problem that I do. I have another pit bull who has no symptoms. The bumps appeared after it started getting hot and humid. She had no signs of skin problems over the winter. I'd like to give her Benadryl to see if that helps. Can anyone tell me if they have had similar problems or if I'm right in thinking it is allergies and Benadryl will help. Thanks for any input.
