How is your cockapoo groomed?

Idea taken from the previous post. I have a cockapoo and he's going to the groomers tomorrow. Since here in Toronto it gets pretty humid and hot in the summer months I was thinking a short all over cut (even the face). Not shaving down but pretty short (i think a 1" cut its called). Was wondering how other owners of cockapoos groom them for the hot summer months.

I had a cockapoo but he passed away last July. But I used to do the same thing. I would tell the groomer I wanted him to look just like he did now except much shorter and it always worked out well. I do the same with now with my labrdoodles.

I have Louise groomed with just a regular, all-one-length puppy cut and quite short. We're at the beach for hours every day and go for walks in a ravine with lots of mud, so I can't deal with long fur

I also just like the way it looks.

Well we got him cut on Saturday and he looks really good. He got 1/2 inch cut all over and short on the face as well (he doesn't have that bushy goatee/beard). Looks like a completely different dog without all that fluff. Was wondering what an average price is for a full cut/wash/nail clipping? I took my guy to Petsmart and paid $55 (Canadian). He's 35lbs. From calling around other groomers in the area who are private in-house groomers this seeems like an average price.
