Mobile Grooming

I hope to get into mobile grooming at some point. It seems like a good way to go. Less stress for the pets and owners, and you just focus on one family of pets at a time.

what day are Bailey and Skyler getting groomed on?

 
On Tuesday...I'll let you all know how it went and share some before/after pics.

We had our mobile grooming appointment today and it was great!  Sure enough, she got them done in an hour or less each and she did a pretty good job.

That's pretty cool that she can do them that quick. I guess we do them quicker than an hour, technically, since today we had 14 dogs (including a St Bernard and a Golden) and none of us stayed 14 hours, but... they take turns, and there's 3-4 people working on dogs at any given time.

So... what kind of phenominal equipment did she have? Anything droolworthy (I know you groom Bailey yourself, so you'll know when something is great)?

Skyler did look like a cute little sheep, LOL.

lol, well I didn't see anything all that special and I forgot to ask her what she meant by phenominal equipment.  I went into the trailer with her and helped to hold Skyler while she clipped his ears.  She was very confident and quick and even with me in there, he behaved remarkably well.  She had a real calm demeanor and whenever he'd start to squirm, she'd just say "steady" in a tone of voice that settled him right down.  Once she was done clipping his ears, I left and she finished him up and then also did Bailey without me in there.  And they were both done lickedy-split.  Then she came into the house while I wrote out the check and both dogs were trying to jump into her lap, so that really let me know that it was good experience for them.  I'll definitely be using her again.
 
Edited to add...I don't know about cute little sheep...in that picture I think he looks more like a wolf!

That does sound *really* good. I'm glad it was such a good experience for all three of you. That's so convenient, too.

Glad to hear all went well and it was a pleasant experience.  They look mighty spiffy after their grooming!
