Most chihuahuas do shed, but I bathe mine once a week, brush them a lot and feed them a raw diet, so they don't shed.

Teenie eats raw, Em eats cooked, grain free. They both shed. Em's bathed every-other-dayish, and Teenie is rarely bathed. They're both brushed regularly. Go figure.... Teenie's shedding is quite minimal. I actually don't shave her, but it didn't fit in the song. Emma has much more coat. Shaving keeps her from shedding, and keeps it easy to bathe her and keep an eye on her skin.

And if you think dogs are bad this time of year... go to the nearest barn and check out the HORSES.. mine are like... crazy shedding! It's ridiculous!

Zoe doesn't really shed, and I don't brush her. I occasionally see hair on some of my clothes depending on the fabric and if she rubbed against me a lot, but overall, no shedding

I want to sing too!

This is Maya's first real spring e-i-e-i-o
She lost too much fur, she went bare e-i-e-i-o
It's starting to grow back in now
Here a hair, there a hair, filling in the thin spots
She gave me quite the scare e-i-e-i-o

This is the first time we lived some place with real seasons and I guess Maya got carried away. For a while she had these really thin/almost bald spots that kept growing in size. I took her to the vet, he said wait it out, and now you can barely see where the thin spots were.
