Is a pimple a pimple or worse?

I thought he might have had some kind of worm. He was given the 8in1 from petco about 10days shy of the 2month date he started that odd behavior so he got another dose[box]. Inbetween he was also given D-worm. I still itch whenever I pet him. Any advice? Anyone know of a good vet who listens to concerns of the pet owner?

Hi, I would consult another vet for sure. You would see fleas for sure. You could be allergic to him, I hope you're not. You may want to get an allergy test as well. I would consult another vet about the skin issue going on with your pup for sure. I don't think its worms, sounds more like a skin issue. Keep shopping around for a vet if you need to, there are good vets out there. Good luck and please keep me posted.

Hi, I would consult another vet for sure. You would see fleas for sure. You could be allergic to him, I hope you're not. You may want to get an allergy test as well. How much does this dog scratch?? Is the **dog** itchy/scratchy?  What you are describing sounds to me like sarcoptic mange.  Sarcops will cause a red rash that is very sore and itchy on the human.  

What are you bathing the dog in?  And  the "8 in 1" - are you talking about a shot or some kind of anti-flea stuff.

It's probably not fleas or you would see flea dirt (black specs on the skin -- it's dried blood that the fleas excrete)

Sarcoptic mange can come *with* the dog, or it can be from wildlife sarcops in your yard.  If this has been happening since you've had him it probably arrived *with* him.    I've got information on sarcops if you want to email me at callie@critturs.com I will email it to you.

Oh! I hope I'm not allergic to him.  I was told he was kennel kept for 5 years. How sad! When I found him he was only out of a kennel for 3 months.  I am determined to be his final owner. If I am allergic I'll just have to cope....I love him so much. He has found his forever home.

Any where from a few seconds to a minute[I'm guessing] multiple times a day. Visited family and friends and Oswald did get fleas from their pets plus we rent an apartment on 3 acres... He is on capstar and tri shield trio[flea preventatives]. The 8in1 is a de-worm type medicine 3 powder packets 1 a day.   More about Oz:

I was told he was kennel kept with other cresteds and yorkies for 5 years. She had him for only 3 months[He has been with me for 7mos.]  I have every intention of fighting for his paperwork but his happiness is all that is really important. I believe I emailed you.  Any and all advice is appreciated.
