National Walk Your Dog Week

I'd love to see some pics of all our members walking their dogs. Getting out with your dog is so good for the soul. No matter what kind of day you are having our dogs can always make us smile.

Theo gets his romps around the backyard at this point because that's all his hips can handle. I used to have an absolute blast walking 6 GSD's in the little town we lived in, all by my lonesome. I loved the time with the crew, but I also enjoyed the education factor....showing people that if you put in the time and attention dogs can do anything! There was an interesting segment on 60 Minutes Sunday about the study of dog intelligence. Not likely that any dog person would be surprised by their findings, but, so many dog owners haven't evolved into dog people....yet. Hopefully this will speed that evolution!

My mom told me about that 60 min, I have to watch that, funny I was at a dog event on Sunday and just didn't get time to watch TV, by the time I got in and took care of my fur balls I was beat. I had a GSD growing up love them, her name was Cody.
