HELP! 48 HOURS AND STILL NO PUPPIES!!!

I am the future owner of a Olde English Bulldogge puppy. I have everything ready. Read the books, got the medical kit together, grooming supplies ETC. The pups were due this weekend. I was already shocked to learn that the owners of mommy bulldogge had no plans of taking her to the vet. Especially since Bulldog breeds normally need a c-section because of the size of the pups heads. Now I am in a panic to learn that mommy started the whelping process early Friday when the first sack of water broke. Now 48 hours later there are still no puppies! They have 5 Bulldogges two of which have had pups before with no problem, so this is the first time they are experiencing this, but still have no intentions of taking mommy to the vet until next Friday if there's still no pups. I'm completely powerless here and worried about what the outcome will be. Anyone experience this before? What could happen? I'm scared that one of the pups are stuck. What's also weird is mommy is completely normal, running around, eating, playing, showing no other signs of labor besides the broken water. What is going on???? Please help!

Honesly the dog needs a vet. Sadly they could loose them all. If a pup gets stuck or the mom needs a c-secation they could be in a lot of trouble.

I know:( I'm completely powerless in the vet situation.

I can't imagine why they won't take the dog to a vet. I know I wouldn't buy a puppy from this breeder (if any survive) unless there is a lot of information left out of your initial post.

The owners must be clueless about breeding dogs.  Read "BYB"    There is a lot  of information on the internet about finding a reputable breeder.

this sounds like a horrible situation to be in... that's irritating to hear that they won't bring her to the vet, I hope the puppies are okay

I used to raise huskys and  if I remember right her temp should drop below 100 24 hours before birthing and usually the mom refuses food too..it's been a while since I raised huskys but you better get her to a vet because like the others said..the pup is  probably stuck and they will die.
