doodle fur

my golden doodles fur, get's matted so fast, and his ears seem to get real bad real fast... It's really expensive to get him groomed, i do often, but don't want to have to bring him any more then I do now.. anyone have any ideas or tips on how to keep a doodles fur under control, maybe a certain type of shampoo, or how to keep his ears clean?

Hi the best advice is just brush him a couple times a week and clean his ears regulary, this is a great tool for shedding dogs my parents use it with great success. www.dog.com/.../495954

For ear care if you can get them really clean then just keep up with it once or twice a week with a simple ear wipe you should be ok.

Glad to help, a little bit every day or every other day can make it much more manageable. You can apply that to training too 10 to 15 min session a few times a day can really help alot.

I always enjoy reading this Forum, much informative.
I usually take my pet to a professional pet grooming center for better grooming.
