• SAM-E & Milk Thistle pdbrdwy Posted : 5/19/2014 7:01:04 AM How much SAM-E and Milk Thistle do I give my dog? He is a boxer/lab and 14 yrs. old. Recently took him to the Vet. His ALT and Alkaline Phosphate were very elevated. Rather than Demerex I wanted to try the SAM-E and Milk Thistle. You can read about it here;   www.nutramaxlabs.com/.../denamarin-for-dogs    You can probably get it cheaper online than from your vet if you do a google search. Is your dog on a RX diet for liver disease?  If not, you may want to discuss that with your vet.
