She is a 7 month Shar Pei that had vaginal hyperplasia during he first heat, so she was spayed yesterday morning (whilst in heat). Obviously yesterday evening she was down in the dumps, crying for most of the night however today she has been eating fine and playing.
The weird behaviour started towards the evening, she is not allowed upstairs in the house, and has never even attempted to go up until tonight when all of a sudden she just gets up and casually walks up the stairs, then all around the bedrooms!! On top of that I had to call her repeatedly for her to come back down, usually she would come on first call. Now she keeps doing more strange stuff like staring at the ceiling and climbing up on the sofa (she never does that either).
When I call her its like she is on another planet, she even tried to run away from me when i tried to put a biscuit in her mouth! She is acting really strange it's actually quite scary now, and I can't blame it on the anaesthetic from yesterday as she was not like this last night or this morning.
It's like she's forgot all house rules and is just confused
