Been a while since I have been here as I have SO MUCH trouble trying to find my way around.
I am starting to think summer is never going to actually get here! This winter was the strangest we have had down here on the mid Texas coast since wemoved down herein '88. Normall, 1-2chilly days, 2 weeks armer weather (even shorts at atimes) then a day or two of chold weather, couple of weeks of warm weather--then hot hot weather. This year the cold started in Nov. and has not ended. Everything has b3een reverse--1-2 warm days, a week of cold, 1-2 days warm, a week or two of cool, etc. My electric bill for Dec. was more than my total for all last winter! (our house is all electric.
Honey is now between 12 1/2 and 13, and still so active for her age. Her hearing is so bad that most of the time we have to touch her to wake her. She sleeps so soundly now. If we yell in her face she hears us. But we have taught her some hand signals and she does If she wakes and only sees one of us, she goes looking for the other. Always wants to know where we both are.
She is so funny. I use 4 to 5 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breast to make jerky for her and I keep it in the fridge. If she sees either of even near the fridge she runs all over herself to get there and hope we are going to to vie her some.for the other. Gonna try to post a picture taken last week of her begging for popcorn.,
