Whiskers

Upco.com has the little foot blades, and the peanut[:D] The peanut is around 2" wide, I think. Much smaller than a regular clipper blade. Lots of folks like it. I'm about to buy one....

And I'd be in Poodle heaven, at your house[:)] Poodle PUPPY heaven would be even better. I *love* little baby Poodles.

We use scissors to trim the feet hair here, but papillon feet are groomed a lot differently than most breeds.  My breeder couldn't stress enough to us to leave the 'hare foot'.

Emma lost her whiskers, today. She also got Poodle feets[:D] I'm about to post a photo. I used a #10 on her face, and agree that it's a little too long. I can see little whisker stubbles. The next blade I had was a #40, so I just left it.

Emma looks so pretty. If I had any sense I'd shave all my poodles down to the bone. I just hate the way short hair looks on them so I spend half my life grooming them.

Zhi gets her whiskers clippered. She hates it and I'm a big weenie about it, so it's a battle every week. If I'd just be a bit more matter of fact about it, she'd get used to it.

In theory she is supposed to have those Clydesdale furnishings so I leave her feet in the eternal hope that her flowing hair will grow in someday. [8|] I think she missed that memo.

I shaved off Teenie's whiskers, today. Since she has so little hair, and I had it in my hand from doing her feet, I used a #40. I made one little (hardly noticeable) line. Next time, I'll do better[;)] I like smooth faced dogs!
