Are you talking about AIHA (Auto-Immune Hemolytic Anemia) ... often called IMHA (Immune-mediated Hemolytic Anemia)???
Yes -- I had a buffy cocker who had IMHA and who survived it incredibly well. He was not a young dog when he got it -- it took me 18 months to get him fully off the drugs and then he honestly had the three BEST years of his life after IMHA. We adopted him when he was probably 7 and he was 8+ when he first got IMHA.
There is a HUGE running thread on here that was started in 2009 and is now like almost 600 pages. You don't need to read thru the whole thing -- but on the very first page in the first post there is a link to an "index" I've done --- it should help answer some questions. Then you can skip to the end and post your dog's story and we'll try to help.
My email is callieatcritturs@yahoo.com -- feel free to email me if I can help you. Back when Billy got sick in 2006 I tried to document everything and then the board went thru a software upgrade and we lost all of it *sigh* -- but the "powers that be" have kept this intact thru the recent upgrade so it should help you.
It's a difficult disease -- very very nerve-wracking for the owner because it's all so unknown. But there IS support for you. You will want to post at the end of the long thread --- it's watched by several of us who have been thru IMHA.
