Need Help on Helping my Dog!I

I have a 4 month golden retriever puppy that has either diarrhea or soft stool. I have taken him to the vet twice now, where he was on an antibiotics. The vet sees no worms or parasites in his stool. when he is on the antibiotic he is fine, when he comes off of it, that's when he start having the soft stool. I'm not sure if it is his food. Right now he is eating Nutro Max chicken flavored for puppys (large breed). Im wondering if the chicken is upsetting his stomach, if I should switch to lamb. I am not sure what to do at this point. Please Help!

Sometimes if you're overfeeding it will cause loose or soft stools.  If you're feeding the recommended amount listed on the dog food bag, you're probably overfeeding.

What was the reason for the antibiotics?  Did the vet give you a diagnosis?

You can try giving him some probiotics to see if that helps.  It won't hurt and might help restore a healthy bacteria count in his gut.

I'm assuming you've mentioned to your vet that your pup returns to loose stools when he's not taking the antibiotics and ask their opinion.

Puppies tend to get into so many things when they're outside that I generally don't worry too much if they have occasional loose or soft stools.
