I haven't had any personal experience with them, but my Grandma swears by their Liquid Silk stuff for before a show.  She says their shampoos and conditioners are mediocre, however.  I would just go with something from TropiClean, Dog.com, PetEdge, or what you're using now, if it satisfies you.

I know,it smells like off petrol or something [:'(] Why such a brilliant product has such a weird smell,i dont know!

We havnt got pet silk over here, not allowed to import it either [&:] But i have got the catalogue, and if i could i think i'de order half of it [sm=eek.gif] ALL their stuff sounds really good, and i have heard excellent reports about from other tzu owners. If a product can make a shih-tzu in full coat look magnificent then it gets the thumbs up from me [sm=wink2.gif]

I LOVE the smell of Crown Royale!  I bought it just for the way it smells.  Isn't it funny how different people's senses are?!  I guess the companies can't please everyone...I am not impressed, however, with the results from Crown Royale- nice shine, but the volumizing line didn't give any noticeable body to my girl's coat...

As far as Petsilk, this stuff really works great!!  I have heard rave reviews on the Rosemary mint shampoo and I personally have used the deep-cleansing shampoo which leaves my dogs very shiny and silky, although I hate the smell :/

I asked on a LOT of forums what show breeders recommend as far as shampoos and conditioners and a lot of then said PetSilk.

I use a natural doggy soap bar called Canyon Meadow. This dog soap is all natural and it makes the coat so soft. It also washes out really easily!~

I also use a shampoo and conditioner/detangler from Woof Cosmetics. (This stuff smells like heaven!~)

What breed are you using these products on?
Do they tend to volumize the coat or slightly weigh it down?
I noticed that they all contain aloe vera and I read somewhere that it can weigh a coat down, so I'm just wondering...

(My long coat chihuahua lacks undercoat and needs products that will volumize her coat and not overcondition.  I need to know these things before I try new products!)

I'm using these products on Toby (a Maltese). It works wonderful for us. Not sure about the weighing down aspect. Toby has no undercoat.....  But it does make him super soft and really "fluffy".  I actually prefer this stuff versus the stuff they use when Toby goes to the groomers....
