• theresamat Posted : 9/6/2006 6:31:50 AM Im not a groomer, but I do groom my own dogs. I have a scottish terrier and a schnauzer mix. I wasted about 50 dollars on a pair of wahl clippers at walmart. Honestly they would hardly cut my Scotties thick coat at all. Then I ordered Andis AG clippers and they are soo much better. They cut through thick coats easily and do a nice job. They are very easy to use and do not get hot as quickly as the cheaper set did. It is well worth the extra money to buy a better set they will last forever and do a much better job than the cheaper sets. Here is a link to the Andis. Never buy the "cheap" clippers from wal-mart, you're just throwing money out the window.
