    HELP dog really sick

I hate Sunday's it never fails my dogs get sick on Sunday and I am panicking till Monday comes and I can take them to the vet. My 8 year old Chihuahua started throwing up last night my mom was doggy sitting as we were away. He has thrown up probably 5 times in 16 hours or so. She said it was snotty at times and yellow at other times he wont eat and wont drink and is very lethargic just not acting like himself I have tried chicken spaghetti noodles eggs pumpkin he wont eat anything I am really worried. On Thursday or Friday my daughter took him outside to go potty and he ate something she said it was weeds but I dont know the only reason I knew was because he came back in the house making a very odd face like something was sticky in his mouth not sure if this is just causing him a tummy ache or if its something more I plan on going to the vet first thing in the morning lets hope they arent closed for the holiday. It really bothers me that he wont even drink anything I am forcing water at this point.

I posted on your other thread -- if he vomits the water DON'T force more water.  But yes, vet first thing.  Given that you don't trust the e-vet then morning is better.

*waving hello* -- sorry I had to greet you on yet another health thread!!  (rellasmom is an old friend -- well not "old" but a friend of long-standing!! *hugs*)

Thanks Callie oh how i always love hearing from you my voice of reason faith and hope. :) Its been maybe 4 hours since he vomited. I got a small finger amount of pumpkin in him forced in him and just now got a small finger of plain greek yogurt in him. We also gave him a little aloe juice in case its just tummy upset. But he still isnt taking anything willing not even water. I just ran out to buy a thermometer gonna take temp in a few minutes. In knowing my baby he DOES NOT miss a meal LIKE EVER lover of food so you know something is really wrong when he doesnt eat but he has never not taken water. Ok off to take temp LOVES :)

My vet is open today, so I hope yours is also.  Do let us know how things develop!

Assuming that your dog is vomiting for more than a day, spewing crimson ooze, or got dried out, your dog needs quick veterinary conscientiousness. Anyhow by and large, regurgitating could be treated at home with a center on calming your puppy's stomach and keeping her hydrated.
