    Peeing where slumbers..

Milo is a very well behaved dog. He is an estimated 4.5 yrs in age, and is appearingly very healthy. He is so sensitive to me, and every thing I do. And really doesn't like sharing me with other dogs for long periods of times. So I decided to get a kitten to keep him company well I am at work. He loves her! Thinks she's is awesome, but since then he has been peeing where he sleeps. Generally, when it happens, I'm sleeping to. But I can't decided if, under these circumstances he is peeing because of an health issue, or a behavioral issue... Is he marking his specific spots because he wants her to know there his beds, or is it something literally happening while he slumbers. And it I believe he peed on my bed last night... But it's hard to say with a kitten, other than theres not a cat pee smell to it (she's 12 weeks though). (sorry for spelling or grammar errors, I'm typing from my phone) Thanks!

I would take him to the vet to be checked for a UTI.  I doubt he's marking his beds to let the kitten know that they belong to him.

Jackie's absolutely right -- the vet must be the first stop.  You can't always tell by the odor -- some dogs stop drinking when they have a uti - some of them drink non-stop.  Vet must be your first stop.

Yep, what Jackie said.  Let us know what you learn!

I have 2 cats who lay on Tootsies bed more than she does. So she lays in the cat bed ( even though her hind end doesn't quite fit Stick out tongue). I doubt hes marking and a vet trip would be a good idea. Good luck and keep us posted.
