Not Eating

What are you feeding her and what WAS she being fed?  Sometimes a food change will cause a disruption in eating.  But, she also may just be adjusting to her new home, and she might just not need as much as you think she does.

Are you leaving food out all the time or do you have her on a set feeding schedule? Putting your dog on a set feeding schedule should help. Dogs won't starve themselves for long. So put the food down for 15 mins. Put the bowl up after 15 mins no matter what is left in the bowl and don't bring it out again until the next feeding time. Keep in mind that any treats you give might be making the dog less hungry. Also, like glenda said, it could be just stressed from the environment change. Lots of dogs won't eat when they travel or get boarded, etc. If the dog gets hungry enough though, it will eat. At this point, so early after you got her, I would not add food toppers. This could lead to the dog getting finicky so you will always have to add food toppers. Food toppers should be used only when the dog won't eat at all for an extended period of time.

I agree with Julie and Glenda.  I pick up any uneaten food after ten minutes.  Dogs do go off their feed sometimes in new situations.  If you don't see any signs of illness such as vomiting or diarreah, I'd not worry.  Dogs won't starve themselves and are quite capable of going without any food for longer than most people realize without any ill effects.  If you're giving a lot of treats throughout the day, I'd wonder if the dog isn't filling up on those.  You could use kibble as a treat but deduct the amount you give as treats from the amount you feed her.

First i feed him eukanuba puppy formula the first day she eats alot until the 2nd day morning then 2nd day evening, im trying to feed her but she doesnt eat at all till the 3rd day. so i asked the owner what food he gave her, he said optima beef formula, so i switch to it. 4th day she eats less, then i decided to put some milk instead mo water. She eats her food fast and i already tried the 15mins aloted time for eating. til 7th day. she eats less again even with milk. so the vet told me to put some liver. i put some liver put she eats the liver and leaves some dog food, but i didnt put liver to her food every meal i dont want her to spoil with liver. There's no sign of vomitting or diarreah, in fact she i active when she out of her cage. Thanks for welcoming me and for your advised i really apprciate it alot! i'll post some pics soon i got one.
