you are **absolutely right** to do that.
Once you *know* what a yeast infection smells/looks/acts like THEN you can use the Blue Power with no reservation. But err on the side of caution otherwise.
Now I've had two dogs who were reactive to chlorhexoderm (and I can't have it touch *my* skin either) so I use the Blue Power stuff for routine cleaning. Heck -- at this point I'm into it for ME more than for the dogs bi-weekly cleaning. I've gotten so I have to use it every time *I* shower. *sigh* I have the worst human ears on the planet.
