    How nice...

took Tootsie to the groomers yesterday and the owner (former employer) told all the girls working, that Tootsie is a jumper. So when you pick her up hold her tightly and if she is in a crate thats off the floor, when you open the door she will shoot out like a rocket. Pick her up at 2:30, by 5 she was limping. I manipulated all her legs and checked all her nails just in case she was quicked, nothing. At 7, phone rings and it was the owner calling to tell me that Tootsie did fly out of her crate and the girl wasn't able to catch her fast enough. No biggie, if your not ready for a flying, awkward dog think long and low, stuff happens. For the owner to call me at home, was so nice.

Tootsie, is milking this nicely too! Drama Queen. Big Smile

I sure do hope you're giving in to her!  Wink

Hope whatever happened goes away fast.

I remember back when I worked for the local vet I was grooming a Sheltie named Kate after a bath (one of my favorite dogs, she was a sweetheart) and she flipped out for no reason and jumped right off the table, landing awkwardly on her side.

I seriously almost cried. (she was fine though)

She doesn't flip out, its just the way she is. Smile

A lot of the little ones at the boarding/daycare facility wanted to take flying leaps from the second tier, eek! I have never had one hit the floor, but they sure have tried.

Hope Tootsington is better soon and didn't get something like a fracture.

And pugs generally hate being restrained so if you TRY to get a hold on her it's instant squirm.  Tiffy, it was nice your groomer DID call you!

Callie, Tootsie must be part Pug! She absolutely hates being restrained and instantly becomes a wiggle worm. A wriggling Corgi is not fun to hold. All is well with her leg. She went on a short walk today and she showed no favoring of the leg during or after, but if she catches me watching her she starts to limp.
