hi, I have a Yorkshire terrier cross and she as you can imagine is so playful! We take her out daily and play ball with her and she can chase it and never tire out! Tho she is OK to run on the grass we found that if we take her to the sea front and she runs on pavement her paws bleed, Its not like she isn't used to exercise as she certainly is, its the inside of the paws not heavy only a little blood but they then seem sore and I have to put cream on them. I haven't been taking her there anymore but its a shame as its a lovely place and we have such a laugh with her.
I also have cavaliers and they have hair in between their toes, Margaret doesn't so I guess this doesn't help matters, I just wondered if anyone else had seen this and if in time it could do damage or will the toughen up? Many thanks.
