Can't help but wonder the cost for this *simple* test!!!  Sounds great though!

Absolutely, Johnny. I was hoping maybe they'd make it a little more affordable, too.

How much do you guys pay, anyway? Pirate's vet sends his to Cornell and I don't remember being horrified by the expense...but he's coming up due, so maybe I've just forgotten in a year.

Need to have Drs. Bailey and DiNatale (a/k/a Drs. Jackson & Faisano) check and see.  The reason I've had mine sent to Cornell is because you get a more detailed answer than just pass/fail but rather than it being like $50 it's like $90.

From what I've heard, it's 1/3 of the cost of sending blood to a lab and having titers done for distemper, hepatitis, and parvo.

That's pretty awesome!!! I think making these things more available will cause it to become more popular. I mean, how many non-dog-nerds even KNOW you can do a test like this??? If the vets start carrying them, as an inexpensive alternative for a dog that has vaccine reactions, they'll certainly become more known.

Thanks so much for posting this Kris. Jessie's due for her annual vax in a few weeks (except for rabies). She's 12 and I really doubt that she needs the shot but my vet will want her to have it. He's an awesome vet and really listens to me, so I'm fairly certain he would send her blood for this test if I asked him too. Thanks again.
