Ok, thoughts on this Please.......Kord

I noticed a pink spot with a scab on Kords face a while back, thought he had done it when falling on the ice.

This is what I found when I came home today.

Idea's? thoughts? ETA: It is not damp, he has no reaction to it, it looks like a scrape, no other spots anywhere on his face.

ETAA: Conclusion, scrape,. I found a frisbee that is torn up and sharp, also he did a nose dive after his ball and might have gone against the garage. So, going to watch it for a few days to make sure it is healing, if not will do a vet visit.

Aw poor Kord! I was gonna guess a scrape. Kenya had something like that. She is a neurotic door-dasher (not to escape or run away but she is mentally incapable of *walking* through a doorway), and if I didn't pull the sliding door open fast enough she'd still be pushing herself out and get scrape marks on both sides of her face from the door and the door frame.

Does she scratch at it at all??? I've no idea what it is but I hope Kord gets better and it's nothing serious!

It looks like a scrape to me -- the spots aren't hard or swollen or anything, right? No smell to them? I'd likely put the tiniest drop of tea tree on your finger and massage in (not a lot - be super minimal so he doesn't ingest a lot).

I remember just about mid-February virtually every year Foxy used to get this 'scrape' just above his nose -- EVERY year .. somewhere he'd shove that pointy little sheltie/corgi nose IN something because some smell triggered him to investigate an impossible place. Never did find out what it was but every year he had to check it out. Sometimes they just do the weirdest things.

I'd keep an eye on it. wish I had some original thots here but I don't.
