Severe vomitting, diarrhea, and fluctuating temps....advise needed please

I'm trying to find some advise for a friend who has a sick pup.  The pup is a 5 yr old spayed Yorkie who has been vomitting LOTS, has diarrhea with what may appear to be blood in it, and had a temp of 92 one day and then 104 the next.  She also has no appetite.  CBC is all good (except for signs of dehydration from puking.  I gave her several recommendations but looking for more info.

Just looking for some advise and thoughts.  Any ideas?

    Thanks

    What has the vet said/suggested?

All I know is they did a CBC yesterday and the results came back normal.  I asked if the vet was insane!!!  LOL  You'd think they'd do further testing...fecal, urinalysis, CHEM PANEL, etc.  Not sure if it gastro issues or viral/bacterial.

They're actually at the vet right now checking for Parvo I think.  I'm waiting to hear back from her.  Hoping they're doing more than this!

My first thot is pancratitis -- my second query would be if the dog has had ANY access to Tylenol (tylenol poisoning -- let's hope not, in a dog that size it would be fatal)

Just a CBC won't tell the tale.  It could simply be an internal infection -- I remember when Foxy got poisoned (he ate vomit that had been outside in Florida heat for a day -- he got this HUGE HUGE liver infection and nearly died and I had 3 vets tell me to put him to sleep) -- Foxy's temp went DOWN because he was panting SO hard that his body temp reduced almost below normal but during the night when he was asleep his temp skyrocketed.

I'd have to say that the 92 temp has GOT to be a mistake --

I was really surprised when she told me all they did was a CBC!!!  I can remember being in the same boat..as far as not knowing what to ask for or expect!  LOL  Being the person in the office wondering what the H E L L  they were talking about!

Pancreatitis was the first thing in my mind also.

They are keeping her overnight and have her on IV.  More tests to follow.

I'll keep you all posted when I hear more.

    Thanks
