We are going thru the same thing with Lola. I've tried everything- raw food, cooked food, one protein/veggies. The vet recommened to wipe her feet down before she comes in and I think that helps. We also got a 200$ blood test for allergies, which did not show much to our dismay, but I would get that test, however, she must be off benedryl for about 4 months prior. I gave Lola 50mg twice a day to knock her out from licking and get her some sleep, Lola is 50 pounds. Acupunture gives her some relief, as the vet feels "heat" on her she can alleviate. I read soaking the feet in epsom salt bath will help but i've not tried it. Lola's feet stink like fritos and her face folds get white stuff in them (shes a bulldog). The vet says to boost the immune system with fish oil and eat cooling foods. I have Lola on a duck and sweet potato by Pinnacle and I think I see a small improvement. You can find the list of cooling foods in "4 Paws 5 direction" book. No chicken or turkey, they are "hot" foods. Beef is a "warm" food so its better. Lola did get better in the winter when the pollens went away.
