lepto vaccination ?'s

• lepto vaccination ?'s Indy05 Posted : 6/20/2010 3:58:22 PM At my cairn's annual check up the vet tech said leptospirosis is showing up in dogs in this area and asked if I wanted him vaccinated.  At first I was hesitant, but decided it was OK after talking to the tech and the vet.   I did ask about side effects.  He has been fine.  He has to get 2 more boosters at 3 weeks apart.  Is lepto prevalent in your area?  Does your vet routinely vaccinate for lepto?  It is $9.50 per shot.  Is this about what you pay?
