AHHH! GSD HAIR IS CRAZY!

I've had a GSD mix, a Corgi, two very heavy shedders....

T-Bone. Purebred GSD. The amount of hair is complete insanity. I'm going to take some pictures of the sheer amount of fur. Good thing I'm not more eccentric than I am, I might pile it all up and keep them as T-Bone clones Are GSDs the most sheddingest breed there is? At least my feet are warm on the walk to the bathroom at night, the hall is lined in hair!

When someone was commenting on CoBuHe's "fluffy butt" I said then "Just wait til they blow their coat in the heat" (or similar) -- cos yep -- it's time to be industrious ... in the olden days someone would have suggested that you spin that hair into yarn and crochet/knit something out of it!!

Yes -- it's been done! LOL (NOT by me!! LOL)

When I groomed, we used to take their hair (and other hair from notorious shedders) and give them to one of the groomers mom's. She actually DID spin their hair and make clothing/yarn out of it. I thought that was pretty darn cool!
