    Knox Nutra Joint tablets?

I used to take Knox Nutra Joint tablets and give my dog one each day.  They are nowhere to be found in the stores anymore.  Anyone else notice this?  What is a comprable alternative product for joints for people and dogs?

The Knox Nutra Joint powder is great... you can buy it on Amazon.com.

I don't use the tablets - I use just the plain powder.  Give it to the dogs as well.

If you go to Knox's website they have a locator:

All you do is put a scoop in your juice or coffee (and I don't even get the one with glucosamine or anything -- just the plain gelatine one).  For a 30 pound dog a half a scoop is plenty -- a bit less for a smaller dog.  But again just stir it in the food.

I suppose it makes the last mouthful of juice a tad gritty but I figure it's a small price to pay for all it does.  12 years ago I was walking with two canes everywhere I went ... a friend suggested I try NutraJoint -- with the admonition that it took a couple of months to "do" anything and wasn't just a pain med.

I just decided to shut up and take it once a day and not obscess over it.  Lo and behold ... about 3 months later I got up and went into the bathroom for something and realized I'd FORGOTTEN the cane.  whoa ....

I haven't looked back since.  I occasionally go back to it when arthritis becomes a problem in a new joint.

I use the powder for Bugsy - locally I can get the regular powder at Walgreens - they often have buy one get one free - lots of places have the powder with glucosamine in it - I have seen the tablets at Walmart

Online Amazon and Drugstore.com have it

I bought some last week and it appears that it has been bought by OsteoBiflex - at least the one now stocked at Walgreens has Osteo Biflex and Knox on the label

Thanks, everyone, for the responses.  I'll use the powder.
