    drooling

My Boston Terrier, Pearl has had excessive drooling for the past 2 day with no loss of appetite and she seems to  be just as active. She just drools and does alot of licking, not just on herself but on me and my clothing. Should I be concerned or just keep an eye on her. Oh yeah and her gas seems to be alot stronger than usual. She hasnt changed food or anything. thanks.

If it were my dog, I'd have it checked.  She could have a tooth problem, or something hung in the mouth.

Any change in behavior (licking) especialy when coupled with physical symptons, calls for a vet check.

I agree, I'd take my dog to the vet if he started drooling excessively and licking.

Vet visit a.s.a.p -- drooling can be a sign of several things.  Let the vet check it out.  Soon.

Well the drooling seems to have subsided today. I came home from work and she laid in my lap with nary a wet spot. Went shopping and no drooling. Lying in bed and all is dry so maybe it wasnt anything but Ill keep an eye on her,Thanks to all.

Good to hear the drooling has stopped.  Wonder what it could have been.  Good idea to keep an eye on her for awhile.

    Good luck.

Glad to hear the drooling has stopped... Has she ever had any type of seizure disorder? My Jack-Jack, God rest his soul, used to drool a few hours before and again after having a seizure.

    By the way - she's a C-U-T-I-E !! Smile

Jasmine would often drool and foam when her stomach was upset. This would often be followed by vomiting or bad poop sooner or later.
