Parents often balk at the expense, so please tell them that while the higher quality foods are more expensive per bag, you actually feed less because usually the kCal per cup of food is higher.

 

Yeah I'll tell them that. I don't think they'd be that against it if it means it's better for him though. 

 I also keep a pot of water simmering, for at least 4 hrs., so the dog and cat don't get to dried out.
