Groomers, where do you get shears?

Try Groomerschoice.com or Ryanspet.com or even petedge.com. I buy all my supplies from them and have never had a problem.

 I do not buy shears without touching them. I did, once, and never again. I get them from dog shows, or from my shear guy Kenchii shears are my favorite, everyday shears. I use my Scorpion shears every, single day.

How do you do a sanitary with shears?

Thanks for the sites.  I am not a groomer.  I just cut the sanitary with the shears.  My dog will stand still for me and will lie still as well.  I do not have clippers.

 I think it's dangerous to do a sanitary with shears, especially since there are some nice clippers that can do the job and cost less than some of the good shears anyway.  Personally, though, since you asked, I like Mink & Heritage Shears.  Hate anything that DublDuck makes.  As someone pointed out, you really have to try them in your hand.

Mhmm, I agree that sanitary trims are best done with an electric clipper/trimmer.

 Kenchiis are my favorites as well.  I've bought one over the internet, one at a dog show, one from a distributor friend, and I swapped some artwork for a fourth.  I lose the consistency prize.
