My 6 month threw up twice

• My 6 month threw up twice meeko1030 Posted : 11/15/2009 6:12:28 PM My 6 month pomeranian threw up twice. When we take him out he has been eating grass and twigs. Could this have made him sick? First time it was clumpy the second more like phlegm. Can I give him pepto bismol? • calliecritturs Posted : 11/15/2009 6:22:20 PM Don't let him eat twigs - that can perforate the intestine and cause a blockage.  Is he pooping ok?  Drinking water ok??  I generally use the Pepto caplets -- and for Kee (peke) I give half one for diarreha.  But for a dog I tend to give chamomile to settle the stomach.  I give the tea in a medicine syringe and add the wet herbs to the next meal.
