How many dogs do you own?

I have I own 5. I got Brownie in 2000, Cuddles in 2002, Possum about a month ago, Baxter about three months ago, and Bailey about a week ago.

    Heres some info:

Brownie and Bailey- They are two peas in a pod. Brownie with the white strip on his snout has the same looks as Bailey. Bailey is a bit shorter and has a skinnier tail. They both could take off after a smell at any moment. They love the front yard. They are both purebred but not registered or papered. Brownie is gentler and Bailey is a bit more robust. Bailey likes kids more though.

    Cuddles- Totally fantastic!!!!!

Possum- Loves water. She just climbed into a kiddie pool in my backyard. Got her from my neighbors litter. Really sweet. She likes to steal my skirts though and put them under my bed. She sleeps on a tiny bed in the corner of my room. Short coat. Smart. Has floppy ears now. She snores!!! Loud. lol

Baxter- Loves to lay out and "help me" tan. lol Loves to chase rabbitts. Has a "special" rock in my neighbors front yard. Loves other dogs. Hides under the table outside. Is in the kiddie pool with Possum. Loves kids. Loves to be around family.

My lovely dog died a few days ago. Right now I don't have any dogs :(

I'm sorry to hear that dogforever Sad

I own two dogs, a beagle, Sadie (3) and a rottweiler Timmy (8 months). Sadie is apparaently purebred, without papers or anything. Timmy is purebred registered with papers.

I've always wondered, what is it like to own 4 or more dogs? There are so many breeds I'd like to own, but I'm not sure I want more than two at a time. It is a huge hassle transporting, when you vacation, etc?

If it's any consolation, dogforever, my dog also died. Albeit a few years ago, but still.

I have 2 of everything.  2 kids, 2 dogs, 2 cats.  I've thought about adding a 3rd dog, but I think I might throw off some mystical balance that I've got going on where we don't have any major problems going on and everything is coming up roses, so I keep telling myself No and using painful rubber band therapy to keep me off of Petfinder.com!  Stick out tongue

    We have 5 dogs:

Jazzy is my daughter's 3 year old German Shorthair/Lab cross that we got from the shelter when she was 7 weeks old. She is black and white and has a rather different personality in that she is scared of people and doesn't really enjoy other dogs overly much.  She loves my daughter and the rest of the family but is nervous around others.  She is getting much, much better as we socialize her and take her to doggy classes through 4H.

Lacie is my black Standard Poodle. She is 18 months old and truly the sweetest most gentle dog I have ever known.  She is quiet and loving, and I can bring her anywhere.  She is my heart and I am her person.

Keisha is my apricot Standard Poodle. She is 16 months old and she is my clown! She is a happy-go-lucky, playful, independent girl, always on the go and looking for the next adventure!

Rex is my boy!  He is a Silver Beige Standard Poodle, 17 months old, and very big.  He is my wild and crazy boy!  He was not well socialized and scared of everyone when I got him at 6 months of age. He bonded to me and only me for quite a while.  He wouldn't go near my husband for almost 3 months!  He is now very friendly, although a bit shy.  Doggy classes have helped him immensly.

And Zoe is my parti girl!  She is a black and white Standard Poodle and is 5 months old.  She is just a sweetheart, very affectionate and full of energy and playfulness.

I have two but would have more if not for the DH. He is my rock who keeps me sane, otherwise I would have 10 or 12.

I have four dogs--three Westies and a Golden.  My little Sophie (a Westie) went to RB a little over two years ago.

Belle--Westie   She is Grande Dame of my little group.  She is my first Westie and has helped me bring all of the other pups into my life.  She is truly my great little lady.

Gracie--Golden  She is the sweetest and most loving dog I've ever known.  She has been the mommy to all the remaining Westies and Katza the cat.  Katza still sleeps with her.

Treasure--Westie  One spunky little girl.  Independent until she wants to be loved on and have her belly rubbed.

Olivia--Westie  The youngest and is truly the baby of the group.  She is so funny and just keeps me laughing
